"Does my application guarantee that I will be accepted to this event?" No. We work really hard to curate a diverse group of makers for this event. Acceptance is entirely dependent upon the number of entries per category and how many makers we can fit into our limited space while still maintaining comfortable walkways for guests.
"What do you provide?" Acceptance will guarantee you a dedicated space within the layout of the event, plus any additional options that you have selected and paid for, two maker badges, and access to a catered lunch on Saturday. You are responsible for all walls, backdrops, display items, chairs, stools, or additional lighting to highlight your products. Pop-up tents are not allowed indoors as they present a fire hazard.
"What kind of lighting do you provide?" We provide overhead ambient lighting. We realize that everyone has different standards when it comes to lighting, so please come prepared to light your space according to your specific needs.
"Will my goods be safe overnight at the event?" For the safety and security of all makers and guests, we provide Franklin off-duty police officers to be on-site during the event, as well as overnight on Friday to keep your items safe.
"What does premium placement mean?" Premium placement is defined as a corner space OR one of the first ten spaces next to the main entrance in either Jamison Theater or Liberty Hall.
"Will you have hand-carts or dollys available for me to use while I'm loading in?" If you need a handcart or dolly to transport your items, we ask that you bring your own for easy load-in/load-out.
"Can I request a specific space or location?" We cannot guarantee you a specific space within the event. The final event layout is entirely dependent upon the different makers and artisans participating.
